Watson is a barn favorite at Jacobs Run! He is very versatile and excels in the show ring doing 2'6" hunters or toting around little peanuts. Watson can do both the English and western styles of riding. His upbeat personality and round belly make him an eye catcher and a favorite to love on! Watson is currently off property on lease for the 2026 show season!

Champers is one of our frequent show horses and everyone knows who he is! Keep your eye out for him in the show ring!

Wayward Eagle

Wayward Eagle

Eagle is probably the most laid back horse that we have at Jacobs Run! Eagle is a Colonial Spanish Pony, a rare breed originating from the early days of Christopher Columbus, who stands at 14.1 hands. He is dun in color and extremely laid back. Eagle is a favorite among our beginners and is also used for our therapeutic riders. Eagle is truly special and our prize possession at Jacobs Run!

That's right, you're seeing spots! Geronimo is a  14.2 hand appaloosa pony who has come to us all the way from Cape May, New Jersey! Geronimo came form Sea Horse Farm, which is Brittany's farm that she grew up on. He has been a part of the program there since he was 4! Geronimo has successfully been shown on the hunter circuit his whole life. He easily does the 2'6" courses and is cute as a button. Jacobs Run wants to send a huge thank you to the Coombs Family for donating Geronimo to our program!

Padame is a 2017 APHA mare who is the first foal that Sneakers delivered. She had a very successful show season as a yearling, winning the title of Virginia bred APHA Yearling as well as Reserve Champion Virginia Bred Yearling lunge-line. She has done some local showing but is most known for her beautiful daughter, Marvel. Padame will be expecting a 2027 foal in late March!

Central Perk

Jimmie has been graciously loaned to Jacobs Run by Beth Forbes as a lesson horse! At 27 years of age, he is still trucking around teaching the littles the basics of riding! Jimmie has an extensive show career and is always looking for snacks!

Tale As Old As Time

Philippe is a new addition to Jacobs Run as of August 2025! He was adopted from Colby's Crew rescue in Charlottesville, VA. As a yearling Belgian colt, he is already over 16 hands. He is probably the silliest horse in the barn and loves loves loves attention! He will be broke to ride in the spring of 2026 and will eventually be integrated into the lesson program.

Change Your Fate

Merida is another horse we adopted from Colby's Crew! She is a yearling thoroughbred mare out of Early Voting. She is put together exceptionally well and will make a beautiful hunter one day. She also will be broke to ride in Spring 2026 and will become a member of the Jacobs Run lesson program!

My Malted Milk Ball

Appropriately named Whopper, this little guy has quickly become a barn favorite! He will be a large pony in size when he is finished growing and is also adopted form Colby's Crew. He is suspected to be a Morgan Quarter horse cross and is very thickly built. He will also be broke to ride in the spring of 2026 to become a Jacobs Run lesson horse!

Ollie Oop

Ollie, Oliver, the prince of princes.... he goes by many names. There is no doubt that Ollie is Brittany's favorite child. He is a 21 year old warmblood gelding out of Beezy Madden's Judgement. While Ollie makes the grumpiest faces on the planet, he does have a big heart (and even bigger stride) and is easily a favorite to ride once you no longer have to handle him on the ground.
